Presentation at the Modern2020 2nd International Conference
GeoExpert was present at the Modern2020 2nd International Conference on Monitoring in Geological Disposal of Radioactive Waste in Paris. Our presentation was about hybrid seismic surveying for detailed characterization of the shallow and intermediate depths subsurface. Download the extended abstract of the presented poster here.
Publication in SpektrumBau
The magazine SpektrumBau published our article Non-invasive and spatially continuous ground stability assessments using hybrid seismic surveying techniques in their 04/2018 issue.
Continuous in-situ elastic moduli
Using P- and S-Wave Seismics, GeoExpert derived a way to image the subsurface in terms of its elastic moduli. Especially the Young’s Modulus is of outstanding interest in engineering geology. Following description gives a brief overview of the method.

3D seismic velocities
The below video shows how we can plot the 2D refraction seismic sections into a 3D grid.
The 3D representation of the velocity fields allows a better understanding of the lateral and vertical extension of the underground features.
