a) Prospection of ground water and mineral water (for depths < 300 m)
- Hybrid seismic surveying using light impact energy sources and max. receiver station spacing of 2 m. For investigation depths < 100 m a combination of Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT = geoelectrical surveying) is recommended.
b) Exploration of thermal water and geothermal energy (for depths > 300 m)
- Reflection seismic profiling using heavy weight drop sources or Vibroseis® and receiver station spacing of 2.5 m to 10 m, depending on the desired max. depth of investigation.
